| Academic Administration is the core of the management in a higher institution. Also, it is a fundamental management work featured as planning and constancy. Under the circumstance of Sino-foreign joint run an institution, the institution adopts foreign teaching mode, which is based on credit-management. Teachers and students have higher expectations on the standardization, procedures, specifications and humanity of management. A smart system is designed to meet their needs. It is high efficient and multi-functional.The thesis includes the following parts:(1) The developmental history of administration system in high institutions is introduced, with the analysis of the foreign and domestic products and current situation, and introduction of the key techniques in developing a system.(2) Starting from the reality of a Sino-foreign joint run college, the procedures of the management is analyzed. In light of the reality, a whole systematic design is offered by adopting modularization, and various functions for the system is developed. The functions of modularization for management of students, curriculums, credits, quality evaluation, qualifications for graduation, textbooks is illustrated respectively. Centering on schedules management, algorithm is studied based on smart planning and matrix. Logical planning for classroom and teachers’resource is realized and smart scheduling is accomplished. The modularization of the Wechat-checking academic information is desinged by using Wechat public platform. Binds the information of students and Wechat number make students can real-time access to daily information of academic administration by interfacing Wechat public platform and the system of academic administration. Therefore, it provides students with convenient service.(3) According to the requirements and contents, it finishes testing for the functions of the system, analyzes and proves the effects of the modularization of academic information management, schedule management and Wechat management and other key parts to demonstrate that the system is effective.A system in the thesis is designed, which realizes its advantages of data management and data preservation and helps staff to improve work efficiency, reduce mistakes, provides efficient query and retrieval service and helps staff finish many routine heavy works such as student management, schedule making and credit management. Also, the function of telecommuting and information-sharing for academic administration is realized by the most degree, which satisfies the needs of information collecting, preservation, management and employment for an institution to secondly develop at present and in future. Therefore, it realizes the information collecting and sharing in a high degree, and provides an effective and efficient digitalized method of communication information in a higher institution. |
