The Research On The Developmet Of New China’s Earthquake Report And Its Present Status

In today’s society, the earthquake disaster often turns out and draws much attention of the mass. To find out what the developing vein of media report of earthquake in People’s Republic of China (P.R.C.)is, from which to recognize the status characteristic and shortage of it,and then to grasp the basic principle of news media should be an important subject worthy of careful consideration and research.Since the foundation of P.R.C., there has been mainly three stages through the development of media report of earthquake:in the first stage,the coverage style is of strong political overtones and conservative,which is represented by the report of earthquake happened in Motuo Tibet and Tangshan Hebei province; in the second stage, there is a trend of more information disclosure,which is represented by the report of earthquake happened in Yunnan province and Wenchuan Sichuan province; The report of Yushu Earthquake and Japan Earthquake represent the third stage, and the media presents more sense of rationality, during the report. Through analyzation to these three stage,we can grasp the developing vein of media report of P.R.C. As well as the its status.In the current China, the setting of agenda during report of earthquake which is comparatively mature with obvious advantages is called CDEF Mode,and And which is quiet different form that of in Japan. However there is still much room for further improvement.
