Report On The Tenth Anniversary Ofwenchuan Earhequake And Writting Of Collevtive Memory

On May 12,2008,a huge earthquake occurred in Wenchuan,Sichuan Province,China,causing heavy casualties and resource losses.The post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction work requires the government to invest tremendous human,material and financial resources.This is a huge project,which requires not only the macro-planning of government departments,but also the close assistance of individuals,organizations,groups and the media.By 2018,it will be the tenth anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake.At this time,a large number of reports have been poured out by the major media.Taking the commemorative reports on the tenth anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake in People's Daily,Sichuan Daily and West China Metropolitan Daily from May 9 to 13,2018 as examples,this paper mainly uses text analysis and discourse analysis to analyze the reporting methods used by the three paper media in disaster Retrospect and arousing people's collective memory from the perspective of reporting framework and collective memory.The study found that the three paper media reports on the tenth anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake mainly consist of five types of frameworks: humanistic framework,economic impact framework,responsibility implementation framework,political framework and leadership framework.Among them,humanistic framework is the most widely used type of framework love in the three paper media.And mainly from the reconstruction of the disaster area,aid organizations(groups,individuals)and the perception of Watching Sichuan,Party organizations and government actions,the living conditions of the surviving people to construct the "collective memory" of the public about the Wenchuan earthquake.Then the mass collective memory is awakened by media presentation,and the mass collective memory is renewed and constructed by different reports focusing on different contents.Among them,pictures,data and oral statements of witnesses are the main media surface presentation to awaken the mass collective memory.Finally,the paper ponders and explores the deep meaning behind the construction of "collective memory" in the paper media for the tenth anniversary report of Wenchuan earthquake,and finds that the paper media can make the public recall disaster and remember disaster in the atmosphere full of "ritual sense" through the tenth anniversary report,and enable the public to complete their individual dependence on social groups,form national identity and cohesion through continuous repeated reports.By describing the "heroes" of earthquakes,we can make them become the guiding stone and guide to awaken the "collective memory" of the public,and let the public remember the disaster while looking forward to the future and return to real life.
