The Design And Implementation Of Open Self-help Electronic Tourist Guide System

The self-help electronic tourist guide system is a new tourism service product,arising due to the development of IT,in order to meet the new demands of tourists. Tourists can get experiences through four methods:leasing the electronic tour guide from scenery spot;leasing the electronic tour guide from enterprise;buying electronic tour guide;downloading the self-help tour guide software for free.The first three methods need to pay,which bringing high cost.The fourth method is free,but the software is only available on one city. Also it brings much limit.To solve these problems,a self-help electronic tourist guide system based on data opening-up is introduced in this paper. Around scenery spot data, system realizes a set of solutions for self-help tour including editing scenery spot data,releasing scenery spot data and applying scenery spot data,serving tourists through smartphone. Problems of much limit and high cost are solved by its scenery spot data and downloading mode for free.Firstly,the causes and process of development of self-help electronic tourist guide system are analyzed.On this basis,the paper brings up a whole design of open self-help electronic tourist guide system,including its technical route and data design.Data editing system,data applying system and data releasing system are researched and realized.System functions,processes and key modules are discussed in detail.Downloading data applying system to Windows Mobile6.0for testing,the results show that the system has good practicality.Meanwhile, open self-help electronic tourist guide system is feasible.
