Wireless sensor network technology relates to embedded system, computer network, wirelesscommunication technology and information processing technology and other fields of technology. It isa comprehensive interdisciplinary technology, which is widely used in the military, agriculture,medical care, emergency rescue and environmental monitoring and other fields. Coal mine is in adangerous and complex environment, in order to mine production safety and high efficiency, we canuse wireless sensor network in the mine production and safety status monitoring control.To achievethe goal of perceived mine,we must realize downhole equipment status, environment and disastersituation awareness. Underground staff environment perception is is an important part of theperceived mine project.This resrearch used Jiahe Coal Mine of Xuzhou Mining Group perception demonstration projectas a background. We designed the wireless sensor network used in the mine, researched theunderground personnel positioning technology, improved RSSI algorithm,have considered the mineroadway unstable factors in the environment, improved the roadway personnel positioning accuracy.And designed a automatic map generation method based on RSSI which is used in mine mining area,we also designed personnel positioning algorithm for mining area. Then through experiment andsimulation analysis, proved the feasibility of the algorithm.In this paper,we designed the hardware structure of the sensor node and the gateway node. wedesigned the software model based on the TinyOS implementation model. We transplanted Linuxkernel, JFFS2file system and application to the gateway hardware. Finally in the study and designon the basis of the work of the staff, to mine environment apperceive system in real environment areanalyzed, and achieved good results, to achieve the expected goal.
