Coal production safety related to the development of the national economy, nowdays, the coal mine safety information system of China is based on cable network, with the acceleration of coal mining, the wired network has the serious insufficiency in aspects and so on extension, flexibility, coverage fraction all, in order to solution these questions, the wireless network is the best choice. ZigBee is an up-to-data communication technology ,with the low gear rate,low power loss, simple agreement, low cost, good extension, easy forming wireless networks. therefore it has momentous practical significance to apply this new technology and new method in the design of coal mine Safety Information System.This article comparative analysis the ZigBee and other wireless communication, analyzes respective superiority, studies wireless technologies and route algorithm and from network in the coal mine safety system application in view of coal mine network system characteristic, defined the processing flows of establishment routing list and receive data frame by refer the ZigBee alliance formulation the route establishment, completed the entire network overall concept design, through absorption study of the ZigBee solution of TI Corporation, design many kinds of wireless sensing node uses CC2430/2431 which TI Corporation produces, including sensing node, route node, the central node, the reference node and the localization node which locates, given the different node hardware design and the software design.This article has analyzed the commonly used network simulation software, confirm the node software design and the network performance used outstanding network simulation software NS2 , the simulation result indicated, the wireless sensing network moreover has more merits compared to the wired network, which can meet the needs of the production of coal mine safety. In conclusion, we have reason believe by analysis above all, based on the ZigBee wireless sensing network will hold important statuses in the industrial safety realm of production such as the coal mine safety production.
