Objective: Observing the clinical effect of non-medical treatment with chronicasthmatic bronchitis in the protracted course, we explored its partial mechanism frommolecular immunology aspect.Methods:122patients were divided into four groups: the acupoint application group, the medicinal cupping group, the acupuncture and moxibustion group and the controlgroup. The subjects in acupoint application group were given the acupoint applicationtreatment as well as the basic treatment; the subjects in medicinal cupping group weregiven the acupuncture points cupping as well as the basic treatment; the objects in theacupuncture and moxibustion group were given the acupuncture treatment as well as thebasic treatment; and the objects in the control group were only given the basic treatment.Objects in each group were treated for four weeks, and the changes of symptoms, signs, pulmonary function, level of immunoglobulin and the cell immunity in the two winterswere observed and contrasted. Results: The total effective rate in the point application group was96.55%,93.75%in the medicinal cupping group,96.43%in the acupuncture and moxibustion group, and78.79%in the control group (P<0.05). It was found that cough, expectoration, asthma, and wheeze were obviously improved after the treatment, and the treating group wassuperior to the control group in releasing cough, asthma, wheeze, improving the quality oflife, the level of CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+, PEF, FEV1, IgA, IgE, IgG, IgM, IL-6, TNF-α (P<0.05). No obvious side effects were observed during the treatment in the four groups. Conclusion: This research proved the clinical effect of several important kinds ofnon-medical treatment in eliminating inflammation, stopping coughing, dispersing phlegm, conquering asthma, improving the pulmonary function and regulating the cell immunity. It also brings a new thinking and new method for the Chinese medicine to cure chronicasthmatic bronchitis. |
