Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of She Ma He Ji on infantile asthmatic bronchitis(syndrome of wind-cold attacking lung)and to provide clinical data for its popularization and application in pediatrics. Methods: According to the random number table method,70 children who met the requirements of this study were divided into control group and observation group,35 cases in each group.Control group: atomization inhalation treatment(composition:budesonide atomization suspension, terbutaline sulfate atomization solution, inhaled ipratropium bromide solution).Observation group: on the basis of the treatment of the control group, take orally the She Ma He Ji(composition: Shegan, ephedra, rhizoma zingiberis,Asarum,Schisandra chinensis,Aster, winter flower, bombyx batryticatus,Pinellia ternata, dried tangerine peel,Poria cocos, malt,Hawthorn, common yam rhizome,jujube).5days as a course of treatment. To observe and compare the changes of main symptoms and secondary symptoms between the two groups, and compare the single symptom score, main symptom score, secondary symptom score,Total score of TCM symptoms and clinical curative effect between the two groups.Results:1.The observation group and the control group were comparable in gender and age(P > 0.05).2.At the 7th day after treatment, the total effective rate(90.9%)in the observation group was better than that in the control group(75.8%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Comparison of age and effective rate between the two groups, the effective rate of < 1 year old and 1 ~3 year old groups was different(P < 0.05),it was indicated that the clinical effective rate could be improved by adding She Ma He Ji.In the observation group, there was difference in the effective rate between the two ages of children(P < 0.05),suggesting that the She Ma He Ji was better for children <1 years old.3.Before treatment, the two groups were comparable in single main symptom score and single sub symptom score.Compared with the main single symptom scores of the two groups, the reduction of each single symptom score of the observation group on the third day after treatment was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05);On the 5th day after treatment, the scores of single wheezing, cough,Phlegm sound, flaring of nares and lung signs in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in cyanosis between the two groups(P>0.05);On the 7th day after treatment, the scores of single wheezing, cough,Phlegm sound and lung signs in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in flaring of nares and cyanosis between the two groups(P>0.05).On the 7th day after treatment, there was no significant difference in the improvement of body temperature, spirit, nausea and vomiting, urination between the two groups;the improvement of sneezing, runny nose, food intake and stool in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of secondary symptom scores before treatment between the two groups was comparable(P>0.05).The secondary symptom scores of the observation group before and 7 days after treatment were compared within the group(P < 0.05),with significant difference.Comparison of secondary symptom score before and 7 days after treatment in control group(P<0.05)was significant. The score of secondary symptoms in the observation group was better than that in the control group on the 7th day after treatment(P <0.05).5.Before and after treatment, the main symptom scores of the two groups were compared, and the observation group was compared before and after treatment in the 7th day(P < 0.05),with significant difference. The control group before treatment and after treatment for the seventh day of the Main symptom score within the group comparison(P < 0.05),with significant difference.Compared with the two groups on the 7th day after treatment, the main symptom score in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05),which was statistically significant.6.Before treatment, the total symptom scores of the two groups were comparable(P > 0.05).The observation group before treatment and 7 days after treatment compared the total score of symptoms(P < 0.05),with significant difference. The control group before treatment and 7 days after treatment compared the total score of symptoms,(P < 0.05),with significant difference. The total symptom scores of the two groups on the 3rd,5th and 7th day after treatment were improved(P < 0.05),and the curative effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group.7.Two groups of children in the course of treatment did not appear adverse reactions,no drug-related adverse reactions. Conclusions: Adding She Ma He Ji to treat asthmatic bronchitis in infants(syndrome of wind-cold attacking the lung)can effectively improve the TCM syndrome in children, with definite clinical effect, and the effect is better for children less than 1 year old, without adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
