Objective:The research focuses on the clinical efficacy of Wenyang Zhisou Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy for Chronic Bronchitis in persisting and its influence on patients’ hemorheology and lung function. Methods:In the randomized controlled trial,60patients were divided into two groups at random, with30patients in the treatment group and the others in the control group. The former group was treated with Wengyang Zhisou Acupuncture and Moxibustion, comprising Acupuncture and Moxibustion. These two methods were conducted at the same time. The patients in the control group were treated with the Acupuncture and Moxibustion therapy for coughing introduced in Western Medicine". The control groups were treated one time every day,10-day a course of treatment and2courses in all. Patients took a rest for2days after one course and the changes of their hemorheology, lung function and the clinical efficacy were measured after the trial. The statistical software SPSS17.0was applied to the analysis of data.Results:1.After treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group was93.30%, which was obviously higher than that(70.00%) in the control group(P<0.05).2.After treatment, hemodynamic indexes such as high blood viscosity, low blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and hematokrit in the treatment group have been significantly improved(P<0.05), and so have the plasma viscosity and hematokrit in the control group(P<0.05). Lung function indexes FEV1%and FEV1/FVC in the treatment group have been greatly improved(P<0.05). FEV1%in the control group has also sharply decreased(P<0.05). Compared with the control group, Curative effects in the treatment group are all better(P<0.05).Conclusions:Wenyang Zhisou Acupuncture and Moxibustion is an effective way to substantially improve the clinical symptoms of Chronic Bronchitis in persisting and has a great influence on hemorheology and lung function. Such therapy is safe and reliable, good for stably controling chronic bronchitis in the long term and curing the disease ultimately.
