| Objective: Observing the clinical effect of medicinal cupping treating chronic asthmatic bronchitis in the protracted course, we explored its partial mechanism from molecular immunology aspect.Methods: 116 patients were divided in three groups: treat group,control group one. and control group two. The treating group was given Liuweidihuang pill+acupuncture points cupping+sticking the acupuncture points with Pingchuan ointment; while the control group one was given Liuweidihuang pill+the acupuncture points cupping ;control group two was given Liuweidihuang pill+sticking the acupuncture points with Pingchuan ointment. Each group was observed three course, contrasting the changes of each symptom,sign, pulmonary function,level of immunoglobulin,T-lymphocyte subset after three courses were observed. The side effect and the quality of life after three months were observed.Results: The total effective rate in the treating group was 89.19%, 60% in the control group one ,and 64.10% in the control group two, there were significant difference between the treating group and the control group one or the control group two (P<0. 05) .It was found that cough,expectoration, asthma, and wheeze were obviously improved after the treatment, and the treating group was superior to the control group one and the control group two in releasing cough , asthma, wheeze, increasing the quality of life ,the level of C3, C4,IgA,IgG, IgM, PEF, FEV1,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+,IL-2,IFN-γ and decreasing...
