Citizen Journalism Microblogging Spread Research

With the popularization of Internet technology, network communication isbecoming more and more convenient, it breaks the traditional model of newsbroadcasting and the news production is plebeianized,the cost of information transfer isdeclining, so that the ordinary people have the possibility to participate in newsproduction. Therefore, citizen journalism came into being. In recent years, micro-blogbecomes an important tool for information release and emotional communication, In2010, the rapid development of the micro-blog provides a good technology platformfor citizen journalism to flourish. By means of open, instant and interactivecommunication features of micro-blog platform, citizen journalism has changed thetraditional mode of news transmission. It protects the public's right to learn the truth,promotes the opening of the public domain and makes more people be able toparticipate in social and public life. Combining with the citizen journalism facts, thispaper analyzes the citizen journalism of micro-blogging from multi-angle through thesystematic and theoretical study.This paper analyzes the development of citizen journalism in the micro-blogplatform from three aspects. First it analyzes citizen journalism's development andtransmission characteristics under the situation of network communication status andthen, takes Sina Weibo for example, classifies the types of citizen journalism on themicro-blog through micro-blog citizen journalism facts that includes citizensspontaneously news reports, as well as the citizen journalism which mass media set theagenda, and analyzes the propagation process of citizen journalism in micro-blogplatform with the specific citizen journalism events, as well as the positive impact fromthe perspective of the communication. Finally, this paper points out the problem of themicro-blog citizen journalism in the development process and promotes the sounddevelopment of rationalization proposals.
