“Citizen Journalism”, whether as a new concept or as a new theory, quicklybecame the primary concern of scholars at home and abroad, ever since its advent.At the same time, it has become the newest landscape in the field of journalism andcommunication with the aid of the powerful technology.In our country, researches about “Citizen Journalism" originate from TheDevelopment and Enlightenment of Citizen Journalism published by TheInternational Press in2006, with its author being Fan Dongsheng the formerpresent of the United States Newspaper.In a blink of an eye, the first ten years of the21st century has past. And thenetwork technology,the technological support of “citizen journalism”, has gainedrapid development. In China, a new media context—micro-blog context has comeinto being ever since2010, the first year of micro-blog of china.In these circumstances, the development of citizen journalism has hit a newwave in China.the public frequently and largely spread the Citizen Journalism.Theauthor developed a study on the change of the Citizen Journalism to explore itscharacters in this micro-blog context. The primary coverage of this article includeswhether “Chinese Citizen Journalism” exists? How to establish local CitizenJournalism? What problem and achievement have had for it? Meanwhile, theauthor separates the development of China’s Citizen Journalism into formermicro-blog, which is well-known as “the first year of blog” by netizen, was from2005to2010when mirco-blog rised and micro-blog context whcih after formerera to now.Otherwise, another purpose of this essay is to clarify the concept of theCitizen Journalism and makes it in position. As there are no series theory about“local Citizen Journalism” through present domestic data and some publication use“China’s Citizen Journalism” directly without clarifying it’s boundary in somecritical area.
