Japanese Publishing Breakdown Analysis

Japan has a long history of development of publishing industry, which also had very great time before, in the1990s it had a decade-long recession, in this ten years,its publishing industry had a depression that appear all sorts of problems and crises,as for book inventory,sale problems, circulation problems,and publishing companies were suffering and facing bankruptcy crisis and economic problems. Such a series of Japan's publishing industry problems were called "Japanese publishing breakdown" by a famous publishing industry researcher Xiao Lin Yi Bo.Chinese publishing industry has a diffrent development with Japan's, at present, Chinese publishing industry is still in the research stage, although different development stages, but both of us are belong to the Asian culture, so cultural foundation is similar, therefore the development of publishing industry is necessary to study.Japan's publishing industry once had some difficulties,but there were still lots publishing companies making efforts,which will be mentioned in this article below.There are four chapters in this paper,the first chapter is Introduction,which try to state the backgroud and the meaning of the artical,and try to explain the research method used in the paper;the second chapter analyse the phenomena,the causes of the "publishing breakdown;the third chapter explain the the state of development after the "publishing breakdown".And the last part is the inspiration from Japan's publish industry.In addition,after experienced such problems,Japanese publishing companies take all kinds of measures to save for the publishing industry and to renaissance,and there are many sparkles.We may meet the same problems as Japan's, such as digital publishing industry development and the digital transition in new technological environment;how to develop more smoothly, more rapidly. The development of the publishing industry in Japan will provide some reference ideas to us.Through the analyse and research development of publishing industry in Japan about bottlenecks and the difficult problems,which can make the alarming in publishing industry for us, and also can supply us with some important experiences.
