Office automation is to use computer and network technology, based on the concept of workflow, which makes the enterprise internal personnel share information quickly , works together efficiently, improves the office environment and conditions, shortens the office cycle, improves the management and decision-making of scientific level, fulfills the office activities scientific and automation.With the deepening reform of the university, the improvement of the internal management and the work efficiency will become increasingly important. Building a safe and efficient office system is not only the requirement of social development and education career development, but also the needs of the enhance of the scientific management and the school benefit. According to the characteristics of office automation system, this paper analyzes the present situation of the development of office automation and the campus network, which introduces workflow technology. By planning the business process, it finishes modeling the business process and makes the business process computerized. In order to realize the OA system design flexibly and the function expansibility, based on the existing campus network, establishes the office automation system efficient, coordinating and integrating. The system is mainly used to manage and release the campus news, to support the exchange of school information, daily teaching and academic affairs management etc., and provides a comprehensive office automation solution which is based on the campus network.In this thesis it is briefly introduced that the development background, significance and research status of office automation system, in the method of software engineering. In this way, we put forward this topic and the main content of the study, in which we discuss the design mode that is considered of in this topic and the technology of development. In this paper, it is expounded that the system demands analysis, the design in details, program code, and the technologies and solutions that is used in each stage in the test. We summary those as follows:With the method of software engineering throughout the development process, the computer network technology and the method of network office system design is integrated used to determine the technical scheme and development environment.By analyzing the function structure of the original system, system structure, and the corresponding technology that is realized, the parts, which need to be improved and expanded, can be found. So the new system can be overall planned and put forward.The thought of MVC layered structure is specific applied into the office automation system development.Use object oriented programming method and UML modeling technology. With the MVC framework model, system function design and user interface design make the business role background separated from the front desk of the user interface changes, which ensures the scalability of the system design.Use ASP.net to build the office automation system in B/S model. Using SQL SERVER 2005 as the database server, the database design is under the standardized database design principle.Using Microsoft WF workflow engine makes the definition and the change of the workflow convenient.Improve the system code reusability by using component technology. Through the use of the database standardization strategy, improve the system performance optimization design.The OA system realizes the home office, system management, information management and document management function. These functions cover the main contents of the university daily works.Every technology is mature, which is used in the process of the construction of the university OA system. But it makes good effect in the development process of the system to normalize and simplify those technologies.
