Design And Implementation Of Office Automation System Based On Workflow

With the popularization of the Internet, the network had entered our work and life. Furthermore, office automation is bound to become the development tendency of small and medium-sized enterprises with the approaching of the information age. The office automation, generally speaking, is that doing the work with no paper, which is done on the network. However, with the popularity of office automation, its disadvantages are obviously. Nowadays, there are many kinds of office automation products in the market, which cannot meet particular functional requirements of certain enterprises. As a result, it is necessary that developing an office automation product aiming at specific work environment and process of a certain enterprise to improve work efficiency.According to the specific requirements, the system is divided into the following five function modules which are organization management module, authority management module, meeting management module, document management module, and process management module. In organization management module, the administrator can manage departments and personnel. The administrator can also manage modules, roles and users in the authority management module. Conference room reservation can be completed in the meeting management module. Sumitting and approvaling of documents can be done in the documents management module. Process management module is implemented with jBPM, which can customize different workflow forms. Because the system is based on JavaEE and workflow engine, it can finish tasks better and improve the work efficiency.The paper elaborates the general architechure, developing technique and construction process. The system is finished aiming at certain requirements, providing a perfect, easily upgrade and maintenance for users, which raise work efficiency largely.
