Design And Implementation On Workflow Engine Based On The Platform Of J2EE In The Field Of Office Automation

OA(Office Automation)system is applied to many modern enterprises more and more. Workflow management system plays a very import role in OA system as its supporting system. Workflow management system enables users of enterprises to define themselves'workflows for adapting enterprises to the variable practical operation flows, which adds to OA system's flexibility. The research of article is workflow engine acting as the core of workflow management system, and the article mainly researches how to implement workflow engine in the field of Office automation using J2EE technology. Main research of the article is as following: 1.Author puts forward the scheme of whole design and interfaces' implementing on workflow engine. The whole design abstracts the design thinking on "Facade"pattern. Method of implementing four Workflow Engine interface is based on the rule of simple design. 2.Author puts forward the scheme of transaction processing on workflow system. Author makes granularity of transaction processing located in level of task, the task is the minimum unit all of which can make up of the whole workflow. So the scope of exception effect is reduced greatly. Author applies the statement transaction of EJB to process the transaction of task. 3.Author puts forward the scheme of route arithmetic on serial route, parallel route and selective route. The article puts forward the scheme through researching the requirement, design and implementing on the three routes arithmetic, and proves the complicated parallel route arithmetic. 4.The article presents the application effect of the workflow engine.
