The Design And Implementation Of Document Flow System Based On J2EE And Workflow

Through the hard-coding approach, early OA systems wrote the program code which carried out the definition of business process into the system, so enterprise needed to redesign the existing system to adapt the change of business processes, which would bring intolerable workload to the enterprise, and make the system with poor adaption and extension. The system selects open-source jBPM workflow engine which is used most widely to manage many forms of processes effectively, when dynamic changes appear in these processes, companies only need to improve the process without a large amount of iterant development, and so it can reduce the maintenance costs and improve the utilization of resources. Meanwhile, the system is founded on the basis of three mainstream J2EE frameworks (Struts, Hibernate and Spring). By introducing the delamination concept, the system can reduce the coupling degree among layers, which maks it possesses greater flexibility and portability, and satisfies the changing demand better.Analyzing the achievement shortcomings of key business with jBPM, this paper presents a solution scheme of using jBPM to design business model and J2EE framework technology to carry out critical operations. The scheme integrates Struts, Hibernate, Spring Framework and jBPM workflow engine availably, and achieves seamless integration among them. Document flow system model is designed by jPDL tool which uniquely belongs to jBPM, and then transform it to WF_net one with equivalent running structure, and use reduction formula of Petri net to validate the smooth of model. Finally, document flow system is devised and realized, whose operational functions are perfect, including document circulation, document sign, process monitoring, affair reminder and so on. Practice has proved that we realize an efficient, stable and flexible document flow system. It can meet the needs of daily office, and possess great flexibility and portability.
