With the major trend of the media brand, TV media has been operating for many years. TV media brand has formed its own unique way——TV packaging, from the beginning of exploration to the rapid development at the present. The successful operation of PHTV brand, and the rise of some provincial TV stations, like Hunan TV, Jiangsu TV, etc, has led to an upsurge of packaging among other provincial satellite TV stations. However, some follow suit phenomenon happened with different TV channels during the process of learning experience. As the spread of terrestrial TV channels and the range of audiences are quite different from satellite TV stations, there's bound to be all roses if TV media brand totally runs after satellite TV satiation packing.This article will interpret the TV packing, especially terrestrial TV channels packaging's understandings and implementation, through combing TV package development course in China, and exploring its development patterns, art expressions and functions in different stages. Today, with the emerging of new concepts like Internet TV, Google TV, or even Web of Things, the TV packaging must have its new meaning. Three domestic TV producers, TCL, Chang Hong and Hisense, have jointly established China Intelligent Multimedia Technology Alliance in high profile, and begun to explore the technical standards of application TV program store. The time for TV application has come, the combination of TV packing and digital television technology will definitely bring new questions for us to consider and handle with.The article mainly talks about how these provincial terrestrial channels that have been neglected can make their own positioning and packaging, establish and maintain brand image, and develop and maintain new media channels, in the trend of integration of telecommunications networks, cable TV networks and the internet. Except talking about how to optimize the TV packaging theory to terrestrial channels application, this article also further explores the new situations, problems during the fast development of terrestrial channels packaging, and try to provide some useful references for domestic terrestrial channels'brand image building.
