Based On The Wireless Cpu Gprs Network Meter Reading System

Considering the various defects of the current automatic power meter reading and the special geographical environment of Shengli Oilfield, we invent a new system of automatic power meter reading based on GPRS technology which has the characteristics of instant access, always online large throughput and so on. This system is developed in the Open AT embedded software development environment, using C programming language. It strives to avoid the problems of the mainstream system and provide a more satisfactory solution.The design of the GPRS power automatic meter reading system based on wireless CPU including hardware design and software design. The hardware design is about to make a circuit panel which has the wireless communication ability, by using the wireless CPU module which is assisted by the external circuit design.The software design composes two modules: the remote meter-reading terminal and control centre. The remote meter-reading terminal, through the C language embedded OPEN AT commands, and then embedded in wireless CPU in the implementation of meter reading, meter reading instruction is received from control centre or the timer module. Control centre, achieves interface design, database access and serial port communications by using VB language. Serial communications achieve the function of sending and receiving GPRS information. Communication protocol (protocol 645 Statute) realizes communications between two modules. System successfully achieves the legitimate users through the control center send meter-reading instruction, access to parameters command and modify parameters command directives to achieve immediate control of meter-reading terminal meter reading, automatic meter reading, acquisition of parameters, modification of parameters, and other functions. The system also integrates a GSM meter reading function, and can attain stable operation.
