Engine Room Wireless Monitoring System Research And Design

This paper focuses on how to use ZigBee technology to build a wireless sensor network and how to use wireless sensor networks of ZigBee technology to monitoring the environment's security of the machine room.This Paper introduces wireless sensor networks, then, describes the ZigBee technology,, in this paper,we analyze the architecture of ZigBee wireless sensor network , include the type and the topology of the nodes in the network . In this system ,we use CC2430 chip from Chipcon as the processor , and design the whole process of the network, and compile the data collection procedures of SHT11's temperature and humidity sensors, accomplish setting up and testing of the ZigBee wireless network . Sensor nodes use the sensor modules which are integrated in the nodes , collect the temperature, humidity and voltage data , and send these data through the ZigBee network to the coordinator node , the coordinator node is responsible for transmit the collecting datas of the network , and use the serial port to send data directly to the host computer, or through GPRS network, Internet and other remote data transmission. This paper is a good mix of ZigBee technology, wireless sensor network technology and accomplished the machine room 'monitoring and control system.
