Today, whit the rapid development of the embedded technology and the wireless network technology, more and more products related quietly into the business, education, health care and other areas and so on, embedded products around us everywhere. As the medical environment to further improve the quality of health care workers and a higher efficiency requirements. How do patients respond to requests within a short time and efficient to clinical events, thus was born a ward calling system. Recalling the ward call system development process, from a single bell-style alarm to sound and light style, from wireline to wireless-type type; With the emergence of new technologies, the corresponding products are making continuous innovation.The current main hospital used its own type of call system is wired, each bed will need a separate communication lines connected to the host with the nursing station, making the layout as "spider web" as complex, not only looks ugly, but also there is a series of safety problems, so scalability relatively poor, when the increase in bed when the pager can not be installed, there might not be immediately effective in these patients are nursing, or even care oversight.This paper presents a "ward-based wireless Zigbee networks call system" solution, as in the traditional ward call system to improve the deficiencies that exist.In this paper, complete the following tasks:1. Ward calls for the traditional system, Zigbee wireless network technology, the development of embedded technology is presented based on Zigbee wireless network technology and embedded technology solutions for the ward call system.2. Response system for the nurses carry the key interface to each module conduct-ed in-depth analysis and completed the LCD1602, KEYPAD, DS1302, and various elements of hardware modules and software-driven circuit design software programming.3. Response system in the nursing station on the U-BOOT completed and the operating system kernel based LINUX2.6.12 transplant, CRAMEFS root file system migration and related structures embedded system platform.
