| Ward calling system is the basic means of communication between a patient and the doctor on duty, occupying an important position. Calls for the old ward system for example, almost all with cable programs, generally there is wiring suffering with cable program, not easy to install and maintenance, and cable programs do not have mobile calling features that enable many patients delay the good opportunity for treatment. Even those who have already applied ward application wireless communication technology call system, often with the presence of functional relatively homogeneous, can not meet modern requirements. Therefore a new wireless ward calling system is to be developed in order to improve these shortcomings.First, the paper analyzes the actual needs of wards calling system in Chinese hospitals, according to the hospital needed security, stability, flexibility, low power consumption, cost and other factors designed total solution of wireless ward calling system in this paper. The program overcomes the problem that traditional cable programs can not easily increase or decrease the system nodes, with the features that patient can carry and easy to use can enhance staff efficiency and the level of service and ensure patient safety. We use the wireless communication technology ZigBee as a ward calling system of communication technologies. Use the widely used ARM9 as a center processor. Processor chip is Samsung S3C2410, the chip interface rich and powerful can meet the system requirements. Wireless transceiver chip used the CC2420 based on chip ZigBee protocol, and in the system joined the network function, which can be used by hospital leader to achieve the real-time monitoring of central nurse station easily, as well as real-time access to central data. Network chips used the CS8900 network chip, convenience to the software development and upgrades. System enriches the display interface, using high-speed video digital-analog conversion chip ADV7120 produced by the U.S. ADI, as the conversion chip of LCD switching to VGA interface, so that the system can support VGA display and LCD display to meet the application requirements.The system used modular design, easy to development and upgrades, mainly include 2.4GHz wireless communication modules, Flash memory modules, power modules, keyscan modules, USB Transport Module, VGA display module, network module .It is able to fulfill its functions independently as well as be closely integrated by CPU between modules. |
