Agricultural Meteorology studies on the interrelationship between agricultural production and meteorology conditions and the law of science, is one of the basic discipline of agricultural science and important branch of applied meteorology of meteorology disciplines. The purpose of Agricultural meteorological study is around the development and modernization of agriculture, keeping understanding and solving of weather problems in the production, proposing optimal meteorological conditions and measures to promote agricultural production.Since 1960 , because of the rapid development of information science and technology, observation means research of Agricultural Meteorology is gradually achieving automation, telemetry and accurate.
