Since the2005"central first document" made to strengthen the construction of agricultural information, with the development of modern information technology and the improvement of information model village in Hubei Province, the concept of "Digital Village" appears. However, a variety of information systems servicing agriculture and farmers face several difficulties in the process of constructing "Digital Village", which are it is hard to standardize and obtain agricultural resources data, time-consuming to process data and information system lacks modularization. This situation limits the deep construction of "Digital Village". So combined with modern information technology (mass database storage engine, internet technology, HMTL visualization technology), to build digital agricultural database and database management system is an important aspect in the process of constructing the digital village.This paper takes Huashi village, which is in Lohan Street, Huangpi District, Hubei Province, as research district. Researching to establish Huashi agricultural resources database and database management system on the background of the agricultural resources data can not meet the need of constructing " Digital Village ". First, establishing resources classification standard by collecting, analysing, integrating, classifying Huashi agricultural resources data, such as human resources, land, water, climate, biological resources, village institutions, socio-economic data and production of materials, which are associated with agricultural production and the transaction management. Second, encoding the agricultural resources to realize the connection among the resources by establishing code system. Finally exporting Huashi agricultural resources attributes by ARCMAP software and importing these data into database by some PHP scripts and database import commands, meanwhile, building agricultural resources database and resource database management system combined with the MySQL database, LAMP programming technology.In this study, realizing the digital management of agricultural resources in Huashi village by establishing agricultural resources database and database management system combined with other scholars’ research results on agricultural resources data classification and the technical advantages of the LAMP, which supplies good data support to the construction of "Digital Village". Realizing the classification, hierarchical storage of agricultural resources by dividing agricultural database into four sub-databases (system management database, basic agricultural resource database, production management database, transaction management database). Realizing update, query operations of agricultural resource by establishing database management system, meanwhile, Realizing query operation and management of spatial agricultural resources by building the online map display subsystem and enhancing the scalability and flexibility of database management system by designing plugin-in system. The realization of agricultural resource database management system provides a fast, accurate agricultural resource tool for management sector, agricultural researchers and producers and upgrades the level of agricultural science and technology of Huashi village to a new stage.
