Situated in the northeastern of the Guangxi,the city of Guilin is a major agriculture base.In Guilin,that natural disasters occurs frequently every year affects seriously the local agricultural production.Currently,the agricultural and meteorological services are still not perfect.It have many problems,such as the methods of service are not perfect and meteorological data's are incomplete,and so on.Therefore,according to the actual situation of the agricultural and meteorological service in Guilin,the research is implemented a agricultural and meteorological service business platform.On the one hand,it's used to collect and update the meteorological data in time for all meteorological departments.On the other hand,it has rapid disaster monitoring analysis function,weather forecast function and other functions.The platform adopts B/S structure.It is based on.NET,and developed by C#.It adopts open and modular architecture of design idea that can help to improve the independence of each module.After the full test,the platform reached the following design requirements:(1)Eight information databases were built,including agricultural meteorology knowledge database,the conventional meteorological observation information database,soil moisture observation information database,agricultural meteorological index library database,and so on.Various meteorological data query functions were provided.It can provide different services for different people,not only the governments and the meteorological department,but also farmers and other kinds of personnel.(2)It brought convenient for business of Guilin meteorological departments.Firstly,various meteorological data's can be shared by the platform,which help to reduce the error and miss of the weather forecast.Secondly,it simplifies the complex agro meteorological operation that greatly heighten the work efficiency for service workers.(3)Powerful functions were provided,including agriculture and meteorological service function and disaster monitoring function,and so on.It can be helpful to reduce the loss caused by meteorological disasters,and increase the level of agricultural production in each region of Guilin.Many information technologies are is used into the agricultural and meteorological service platform,including computer technology,database technology and network technology and so on.The research meet the needs of Guilin agricultural and meteorological service.The platform is based on software engineering development process and ideas.It simplifies the working process of the agricultural services,and provides a useful tool for the agricultural meteorological standardization,automation,precision.It will be played an important role in agriculture meteorological business work and be proposed the new train of thought for the development of Guilin agriculture meteorological services.
