General Elevator Wireless Remote Monitoring System Based On Embedded PLC

With the rapid development of tall buildings, elevator has become one of the important objects of surveillance and management in safety field. Though the developments of Micro-computer technology and control technology have greatly improved the level of stability and security of the elevator, whose electrical circuits and components will still occur aging, damage or lose efficacy inevitably as time passed by the frequently use, which is very likely to cause accidents and endanger people's lives and property. So, take real-time monitoring and fault diagnosing will become an effective method to administer and uphold elevators. Many large elevator manufacturers have developed monitoring systems match with their own products at home and abroad. But the reality is that there're many kinds of elevators in a region and they obey different standards, which makes cluster monitoring very hard. To solve this problem, combined with embedded technology, mobile communication technology and computer control technology, the paper presents a general elevator wireless remote monitoring system which is used in regional elevator group's real-time monitoring.The monitoring system gathers active signals and high speed pulse signals directly from elevator's electrical circuits to get the operating data. According to elevator's basic operation mode, front controller running an expert diagnosis system to make real-time analysis and processing, and then translates the elevator's status information and fault diagnosis to control platform by General Packet Radio Service network. Control platform reflects the elevator's status by direct, friendly HMI, responds to fault information, and notices handlers to deal with emergency situations.Designation of the system achieves the purpose of regulating different brands of elevators in regional scope. It has the functions of real-time monitoring, fault warning, maintenance tips, rescue trapped, daily management, historical view, quality assessment, hazard prevention and so on. It has the advantages of easy installation, high reliability, strong real-time, low running costs, convenient HCI and so on.In the field of elevator's remote monitoring, uniform standard hasn't formed yet. Nevertheless, the system not only provides an excellent set of regulating program, but also break through the traditional thinking on technology and application. It has great guidance significance and the value of practical application.
