The remote monitoring system is composed by three modules of data collection module, remote transmission of data module, the mointoring center module. For this paper, it is based on the composition and working principle of the remote monitoring system, combined with inclinometer techniques to build remote inclinometer monitoring system. It solves various types of questions which in construction of remoting inclinometer data acquisition and processing and timely analysis of surveillance.According to the system design program, combined with the SOPC technology based on Nios II and GPRS communications technology principle, this paper focus on the remote inclinometer monitoring system in the aspect of the Nios II CPU system customized,μClinux operating system transplanting, GPRS communication module study , inclinometer data monitoring and management , database development and application. Remote data collection terminals use the Cyclone II core chip EP2C20 as a core chip then accomplished hardware and software system design focus on it. Which adopts VTI's advanced angle sensor chip SCA100T-D02 as sensitive components to construct a data collection module. Use Shenzhen-Hong Dian H7118 GPRS DTU achieves long-range GPRS wireless data transmission communications. In the mointoring center, uses a PC-database SQL Server 2000 as the core and uses Visual Stdio 2005 Integrated Development Environment to develop a set of inclinometer data monitoring management system in order to achieve remote management monitoring inclinometer data.On basis of in-depth analysis about hardware and software technolegy in the data collection module, completed self-customized CPU system based on Nios II, and transplantatedμClinux operating system on the CPU system. Successful developed SPI driver for connecting angle sensor and GPRS modules driver. And also successfully developed the inclinometer data monitoring management system based on SQL Server 2000 which can receive timely treatment and analysis of monitoring. According to test, the system has good control effect and it can be widely used in railway transportation, hydroelectric dams, bridges, construction, mining, geological environmental surveys and other infrastructure engineering, to ensure the important link of infrastructure construction carried out safety and smoothly.
