Land is the most basic material for survival and development of human being. Land is important to support economic and sociality's sustainable development. But with China's accelerating urbanization process, city contradiction has become more obvious between the population, and the environment. Especially the urban development of land resources has become a major bottleneck [1].In 2007, Urban and rural comprehensive reform pilot area was established in Chongqing, which sets new requirements for the development of Chongqing's socio-economic. At present, China does not have a comprehensive urban land use performance evaluation index system and assessment procedures, Moreover, China's national conditions need land use in a sustainable development way by taking an objective, impartial principle. From a scientific approach, to evaluate the performance of urban land use includes both quantitative and qualitative measurements.Performance evaluation of land use in a manual way, which bring a big workload, which is tedious, easy to make mistake and time-consuming. Under establishment of a performance evaluation for land use by compute technology, by analyzing performance of the various factors into appropriate factors to calculate corresponding parameters to be taken into account.This thesis has mainly achieved the following objectives:①Analyze the project background of Urban Land Use Performance Evaluation System; The status of land use performance evaluation; Analysis the problems in the system and propose possible solutions.②The most important work we do in the thesis is the implementation of the system; Requirement analysis of the system.③Analyze design patterns used in urban land use performance evaluation system and key technologies. The system is based on B/S architecture and MVC (Model - View - Controller) model.④Define the standard value of every target; weight calculation; methods and algorithms description. ⑤Software and hardware environment needed in the development of the system. Use framework to develop the performance evaluation system. System analysis and introduces the implementation.⑥Simple introduction of the key technology, such as SSH; the use of SVN; FCKEditor and so on.⑦System testing was done in the end of the thesis. Unit testing and performance testing was done separately. Analysis of testing results, making improvements accordingly.
