Management For Automatic Meter Reading System

With social and economic development electric power is used by popularly and the amount of electric power is used increasingly. Traditional charge of electric fare by manual labor can't satisfy the demand for modern man management. The automatic meter reading system which is based on technology of communication and computer is more and more widely be used.In order to get communication with collect terminal while developing terminal including reading and setting collect information, and on the other hand in order to facilitate the construction personnel installation and debugging collect terminal on site, developed the system. This system is divided into the PC version and handheld devices version, PC version is run on PC,it can communicate with collect terminal on PC, Hand-held devices is for the convenience of convenient construction personnel to carriy. Since the two system have the same function, this paper mainly introduces the PC version. The meter reading system involves some communication, including rs-485 communication technology, infrared communication technology, etc.This paper will tell the function of this system and the how to it realized, including communication design and implementation, and a data frame structure with the analytical, terminal basic parameters request and acquisition, watt-hour meter basic parameters request and setting and the request, and electricity meter to other function to do is briefly introduced.
