Design Of Automatic Meter Reading Management System

Automatic Meter Reading is a new technology which applies data automatic acquisition,transmission and processing to water,power and gas' supply and management system . With the continuous development of management revolution in the water,power and gas market,the research on AMR is becoming a hotspot and trend.In order to solve the problems of meter reading system by hand in electric management system at present,such as costing much labor and work,easily making mistakes and inconvenience of meter reading etc.,superordination machine management system of AMR is presented and designed.According to the train of thought of software engineering projects development,employing object-oriented programming method,the study and design of AMR management system is discussed in detail in the following three aspects : system entry module , proscenium management system module(it mainly includes customers'information management module , electric bill information management module , printing module , password modifying module,users'information management module,database copy and restore module and help),tiring-room management system module.At first,the task's study context and AMR system's development situation are introduced at home and abroad.Then,the development environment of AMR management system is investigated and analysed:Visual C++ 6.0,SQL Server 2000 and Unified Modeling Language (UML) system modeling technology . Afterwards , AMR management system's demand analysis is studied in four phases:system's function demand and performance demand,system's data demand and data relationship architecture,system's logic diagram and flow chart and system scheme's formulation and evaluation etc..After that , choosing Windows XP as operating system , SQL Server 2000 as background database,adopting Visual C++ 6.0 to programme,employing database access technology-ADO,AMR management system that can process the datasheet which comes from meter reading machine is designed and implemented.At last,the work of task study is summarized,and the outlook is put forward to the follow-up study work.
