The Study Used Automatic Meter Reading On System Which Based In Machine Vision

Along with the progress of science and modern information technology ,more and more intelligent system begins useing in People's Daily life. The processing of automation information produces an extensive influence for people which be rising. With the process of various industry informatization gradually, we require copying the data of user's meter automatically. Collecting system is composed of modern information technology and metering technology. Which reduces the complexity of artificial work in meter reading radically.The processing system of user's information to be integrated of measurement, acquisition,and processing .As followed,the research of expression of water meter automatic meter reading will be with meter for introduction object,it due to mechanical instrument meter which is a special case, but subject study on water meter as concrete objects. Research results will also useful for other similar instrument.There are two parts in wheel water meter readings device research that based on visual pointer type,the first is part of hardware design and software design points. Which is including hardware design .This part is divided into three parts:image acquisition,microprocessor and microprocessor buffer circuit desig n.Mainly the second one is Software design part that includes pointer type vane wheel water meter image preprocessing and recognition algorithm design.Taking water as the research object. Research is divided into two parts which based on pointer water meter reading . The hardware design part is divided into three parts. Image acquisition part, microprocessors and microprocessor peripheral part of the circuit design. Software design including Analog meter image preprocessing and recognition algorithm design. Finally, we improved the system and put forward some suggestions for improvement.
