Researches On Librarian's Professional Reading Institution

Library as a profession have missions to preserve, organize and collect human knowledge and information, ensuring knowledge inheritance to support education and research. As the Librarians who have the mission need the extensive knowledge and professional skills, those access to knowledge and skills not only depend on the classroom or training, but also need enrichment and accumulation by continuing professional reading. Therefore, I believe Librarians who are the main force to promote and guide social reading, their reading problems should be concerned, and the construction and implementation of librarian's professional reading institution is meaningful to solve the problem about librarian's reading, developing the career of library profession and the promotion of social reading.This paper based on the library profession to discuss the issue of Librarian's reading. The full text has eight chapters:The first chapter is an introduction, to clarify the basic issues in this paper about the research background, research base, research content, research ideas and methods. The second chapter starts from the library profession and the mission of librarians, this article comprehensively analyze the basic theoretical issues of librarian's professional reading, such as the significance, objectives, content, features and types, then resulting the theoretical guidance system.The third and forth chapter analysis the problems and the states of librarian's professional reading through surveys on some librarian's reading, then through researches, analysis the states of construction of librarian's professional reading institution and the existing problem.The fifth chapter is about how to promote librarian's reading level and reading ability. Under the guidance of the basic law of librarian's reading, this paper analysis this problem from two aspects, one is strengthening librarian's awareness of reading and another is improving the act of librarian's reading.The sixth and seventh chapter focus on the discuss about the construction of librarian's reading institution and analyze the establishment and implementation of someⅡ mechanism,such as the application of librarian's reading results, the evaluation and incentive about librarian's professional reading and reading reviews. In final chapter, combine the results of previous studies, exploring the formation process about win-win mechanism of interaction between the work of library and librarian's professional reading. Through such research, make the purpose of this paper more explicit.By researching about librarian's professional reading, I believe the establishment of relevant professional reading institution can promote the future management practices for librarian's professional reading.
