The Study On The Problems And Solutions Of Archives Standardization In Our Country

Now, it is the goal for the archives administration system to establish an optimize-structure, scientifically managed archives standard system, which can provide efficient service. To achieve this, the first thing needs to be done is to modernize archives management. Standardization is the most dynamic and positive factor to realize modernization of archives management in information age, and it has become an important criterion for the archives development. International organizations and developed countries attach much importance to standardization in the archives standardization, and have made remarkable achievement. Many developed countries have realized the standardization of archives system while there are many problems unsolved for the standardization of archives system in our country due to some reasons. Such as, unclear definition of the basic conceptions of archives system standards, shortage of methods, technical terms definition out of time, mistake use of technical terms, archives management standards lag behind the development of current status quo, dynamic maintenance, lacks systematic ness, no unified system for archives standardization, etc. therefore, this thesis will analyze the practical situation of archives standardization in our country, so as to reveal problems and explore solutions. And hope this study will provide some constructive advices to archives standardization in our country.This thesis consists of six chapters:The first chapter is instruction, which reviews related researching literature both home and abroad, and points out aim and significance of the study. This chapter also introduces research methods, approaches and innovations of this thesis.Chapter two gives general description of the basic conceptions, features and classifications of the standardization of archives management system. This chapter introduced general principles of archives system standardization thoroughly, which include methods principles and manage principles, and clarifies the principles and requirements of archives management standardization in our country. Chapter three is based on related theories of archives management standardization and SWOT analytical method of strategic management. This chapter employs marketing management theory, strategic management theory and archives standardization theory to analyze internal and external environment of archives standardization in our country, to find advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges that influence the development of archives standardization in our country, so as to provide advice for the better development of the standardization of archives management in our country.Chapter four states the current state and features of the archives standardization of international organizations and developed countries, and thoroughly discusses their inspirations to the archives standardization in our country.Chapter five analyze the analytical conclusion of chapter three and advanced experience and inspirations of chapter four, and focus on finding solutions to the problems in our country.The last chapter summarizes major finds, implications and limitations of the study.
