At present, the ion barrier film of Microchannel plate (MCP) is one of the effective ways to prevent the feedback of positive ions in the image Intensifier. It can effectively protect the photocathode, and prolong the operating life of the image tube.In this paper, the development and application of MCP, the fabrication process and the influence of the ion barriers film on the image tube were briefly introduced. In this thesis, firstly, the composition of the organic film in the fabrication process of ion barrier film was studied. Next, a thin layer of aluminum film was sputted on this organic film, and the aluminum film together with the organic film was attached on the MCP surface, the productivity was given. The morphology and the changes of the electrical property of the ion barrier film after high-temperature degassing were studied, and the reason were analysized. Finally some theoretical analysis were made by using Monte Carlo simulation method to simulate electron trajectory and ion transmission characteristic in the ion barrier film, the curves between the voltage,together with the thickness of the ion barrier film and the transmission characteristic of electron and ion in the Al2O3 and SiO2 ion barrier films were given. |
