China's access to WTO and the formation of global market, making all walks of life of China is facing enormous challenges, especially, the financial crisis broke out, making the world are targeting the chinese market. To be able to join in the increasingly fierce competitive environment, have their own place, and the industries introducing advanced technology, equipment, and high-quality talent, efforts must also be in management. Only managed to keep up, to efficiently use the resources of the industry, the greater economic benefits are resulted in. Manufacturing plant as a collection point of the enterprise information flow, material flow and control flow is the source of enterprise efficiency, and thus become the focus of management.Manufacturing Execution System is an important technology of Manufacturing Management System. It is the interface between the enterprise top ERP and the bottom of the workshop production site management system, strengthening scheme of communication between management and the underlying control, addressing enterprise information "gap" issue, and playing the role of nexus.In the thesis, the background of Ji company's information in Weifang City, the requirements and functional status of enterprise manufacturing execution system are analysed for Jintong tube company and small enterprises similar to Jintong.Through a comprehensive analysis of basic principles of MES, MES development and current situation at home and abroad, combined with the characteristics of our current manufacturing enterprises:some existing problems in practice, the need for the application of MES technology is pointed out, and the solution program of the key technologies of the difficult underlying data collection, the poorly integrated performance and the complex production scheduling for the MES are proposed.Finally, by analysis of the main function module of MES, features of MES software products being refered to on domestic and international, the demand of Jintong tube industry company in Weifang City being considered, the MES system architecture model is analyzed, and by using C# as a programming development tools, the front-end of system is realized, and by SQLServer 2005 as a database, the MES system functions initially is realized.
