The Investigation Of The Media Literacy Education Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

In China, migrant workers with rural household registration status are in town or are non-agricultural workers in the field of work, who are namely migrant workers. This article mainly refers to the new generation of migrant workers who are born in 1980s and 1990s, the age referred to 16 years old to 30 years old. The new generation of migrant workers in the media literacy education as we are concerned about which is one of the topics of media literacy education, is still in the early exploratory stage. In the social transition, as China's national income in the lower level with higher education groups, the new generation of migrant workers to promote and implement media literacy education is a long way to go.This article summarizes in the new generation of migrant workers in China the development of media literacy education, media literacy education theoriers and related theoriers of journalism and communication, and placed media literacy education of this group in the context of self-education to be examined. Propose new generation of media literacy of migrant workers in three ability levels, which are the ability of contacting, selecting and understanding the media, the ability of being critical about the media and the ability of perceived improvement in cognitive ability. Demonstrated in this group to carry out the importance of media literacy education for this group of special economic and social development in Chongqing, put forward a new generation of migrant workers to enhance media literacy education policy.Based on the theoretical analysis, for large cities with large rural areas of Chongqing municipality, and it still is a"migrant workers"province,which also is a national comprehensive reform pilot including urban and rural areas in this special case. This paper includes the new generation of farmers of four districts which are Jiulongpo District, Jiangbei District, Yubei District and Yuzhong District. By studying the related investigations by other researchers of the study questionnaire, I design the new questionnaire of the new generation of migrant workers, which is the current situation of media literacy Localization investigation in Chongqing City. This survey of the new generation of migrant workers in Chongqing display the basic situation as well as the three basic media literacy . According to the findings of an effective recovery, and with quantitative, qualitative and comparative research methods, analyzes statistical analysis by the new generation of migrant workers in Chongqing City Media Literacy, and analyzes restricting factors of the media literacy generation of migrant workers.For the status of media literacy of the new generation of migrant workers in Chongqing, this paper establish the new generation of migrant workers'sense of self-education, media communicators to strengthen their own media literacy-building, increasing the Government to protect and regulate the intensity of media literacy education, the use of public media literacy education agencies to improve and enhance media literacy education of the new generation of migrant workers in Chongqing City, to actively promote media literacy education of this group . For the new generation of migrant workers to improve media literacy, this paper provides a useful reference and solutions, and then to attach importance to research, attention to localization experience, and gradually to go out of Chongqing, and to increase the overall level of media literacy which is the ultimate goal.
