This thesis makes a deep study on the computer courses of the Sichuan Preschool Educators College given to the students in major of preschool education by document literature, questionnaire survey, expert intervew and theories of Pedagogy, Psycology and Preschool Pedagogy. Based on practical investigation, the thesis analysizes the importance of Information Technology course designed for the students of Preschool Education major and the necessarity to strengthen it. The thesis then studies and analysizes the presnet situation of the computer cources given to the students in Preschool Education major to identify the real problems in order to come up with proper solution to them in teaching practice.The thesis summarizes in the end to point out related work still needed to be done and directions of further study that remained for researchers.The investigation shows that the Curriculum of Information Technogy Education given to the students in Preschool Education of Sichuan Preschool Educators College is mostly copied from that of other colleges. The teaching content mostly consists of basic computer knowledge without considering too much about students'real situation to satisfy real demands from the society. Meanwhile, big class + traditional teaching method (explaining + demonstration + practice) + simple evaluation + over focusing on the Grade Examination are to be changed.The thesis suggests that the Information Technology curriculum of the college should consider more about the students'major character and the school's true situation to meet demands from the society. According to this, the thesis comes up with practical measures to reform the Technology Information curriculum of the Preschool Education major of Sichuan Preschool Educators College by raising awearness, renewing idea, changing and reforming curriculum, teaching methods and evaluation criterion, strengthening the teaching staff construction, attenching inportance to curriculum construction of computer course.The thesis consists of five parts as followed:Chapter I: Perface. An introdcution of the study background, value and metheds.Chapter II: Elaborating the inportance and necessarity of strengthening Information Technology education to studentd in Preschool Education major by document literature reading and on-the-spot investigation and research.Chapter III: Elaborating the present situation and problems of Information Technology curriculum of the school from teaching content, curriculum, teaching methods and evaluation.Chapter IV: Reformal measures for the questions or problems raised from the chapter three.Summary: Giving a brief summary to the research findings and pointing out the directions of further study.
