With the continuous development of higher vocational education, Computer literacy has been integrated into the various specialities in the teaching process. Quality education of computer teaching has become an essential component, it also has become an important foundation for sustainable development is a good platform for information literacy of contemporary college students. The main teaching goal of College students in computer applied course is to train students in the operation of applications and information literacy. Higher vocational colleges of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region are a complex of highly skilled talent base. Due to the standard of teaching in the Inner Mongolia region and the differences of students, the majority of computer applied course in higher vocational colleges teaching basic courses in information technology has become deepener and extender than secondary school courses, and in practice only give the basic theory and the computer simple software skills, so the learning results is not very good, in view of this situation, we should adjust the teaching plan in time, we must reform the traditional teaching methods, in order to adapt to the economic development of our region's needs.I have years of experience teaching in higher vocational colleges, in practical teaching , based on I felt deeply that students just to passive learned some basic computer skills form computer applied course, and students do not know how to use what they learned into practice, How to change the status quo? I have a variety of learning theory through a detailed analysis and comparison and found that the model of project-based learning is very suitable for computer application College students teaching basic courses. Project-based learning through the collective group of students completed the course of the project to allow learners to gradually achieve self-learning, collaborative learning and inquiry-based learning, it is conducive to future development. Connection with project of computer teaching reform of public infrastructure and Practice , use The Basis of Computer Applications course as an example of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, Vocational & Technical College, and take project-based teaching program for research, practice, analysis for the higher vocational colleges The Basis of Computer Applications. The results showed that project-based teaching of computer applications is very suitable for higher vocational courses, students can will be applied to practice with learn computer knowledge, it not only enhance the culture of information literacy of students, but also improve their basic operations research and innovation capacity and capability, meantime it extends the management capabilities of students to collect, collate the information capacity of co-ordination ability and language ability.
