Project scope management is the core and foundation of project management, as well as the platform for other project management activities. Most of the researches on project management focus on other aspects such as time management and risk management. Scope management is less concerned because of the lack of the management tools and methods. It is even less to study the scope management of IT systems from the standpoint of project owners. With the enlargement of the application scope of IT systems in civil aviation, the IT systems in the SC airport group enterprises have grown into a large system combination of multi-systems and multi-disciplinary. Thus, the thesis will research on the IT system scope management of SC Airport Group based on the knowledge of project management and software engineering.The paper studies on the ways and means of scope management on IT systems, starting with the construction process, management status and the problems of SA project in C airport, applying the project management theory as well as the theory and tools of value management, software engineering and IT service management. The paper elaborates on the aspects of scope management, requirement management, configuration management and change management in the view of the project's full life-cycle, summarizing the scope management module suitable for the airport operation conditions.The paper first analyzes the problems and causes in the scope management process in SA project, outlining the ideas to solve the problems using project management theory and other management tools, followed by the discussion on scope management, requirement management, configuration management and change managementOn scope management, the paper analyzes the problems in the prophase and implementation of SA project, applying the theory of value management and scope management, researching on the policies and processes of consolidation, with the conclusion that the improved overall-control process should be applied. On requirement management, the paper makes an analysis on the features of the project's requirement, discuses the process of requirement management, points out that requirements development and requirements analysis should be focused on, and outlines the requirements specification for SA project.On configuration management and change management, the paper advises to use configuration management in the IT system projects in SC airport group. The paper researches on configuration management process, change rating and change control, designing the rating system and process for change management.This paper could be a reference for researches on the project management of IT systems in SC airport group.
