With the increase of pipe network facilities and users, the management of urban gas pipe network has become increasingly difficult.How to remote sensing technology applied to the city gas pipeline networks (facilities) scheduling management, focus on resolving the weaknesses of information management, the network reform, load monitoring, the input differential analysis and monitoring, demand side regulation, dynamic monitoring of gas pipeline network. It has been inevitable to improve the management level of gas pipeline network and establish the City Gas automated monitoring management system and has become the key point and difficulty of gas field market management.The system uses embedded computer system, intelligent bus instrument communication technology, GPRS wireless network communication technology, VPDN (Virtual Private Dial Network) technology, network database system technology and the upper application software technology. Through these advanced technologies, to be working together the on-site measurement system that distributed in various regions, the condition monitoring system through the VPDN network, and the dispatch center, which has formed a set of complete, high reliability, flexible structure network system and centralized remote management.We have gained the following main achievements:1,Fully investigated the demand and the status of my company's city gas automated management and the benefits of developing city gas pipeline network automated management system which bring to corporate management.2,Completed the prototype of the company's gas-fired automatic monitoring and management system, which provides the basis of decision-making for the company's construction of urban gas SCADA system.3,Completed requirements that raised by thesis proposal and realized technical function.4,Realized the scheduling display of Beixin Company pipeline network map and realized one monitoring data every 10 minutes and 144 segment records of monitoring data every day of Beixin gas distribution station, Chang-an Ford plant, Duan's garment factory.5,Achieved on-site condition information monitoring, mobile phone short message alarm of temperature, pressure, flow cross-border and sound and light alarm of monitoring center.6,Achieved the basic equipment plant information management of Beixin gas distribution stations, Chang-an Ford plant, Duan's garment factory, and realized automatic prompting of equipment repair.7,Made the company managers fully understand the benefits and importance which the city's gas automated monitoring and management system for enhancing the company management level.After six month's trial operation, the system achieved the desired design requirements and management objective.
