With the development of modern science and technology,the traditional monitoringand managing way on city pipe network is facing the challenge, how to collect datafastly、distance transmission and integrated management is hot issues in the field ofautomation of pipe network. This paper focuses on urban pipe network monitoring andmanagement system, propose versatile system architecture and information model inorder to get the target of holistic、intelligence and automation in monitoring andmanagement of the entire city pipe network.The system is based on Internet of Things three-classical architecture withhierarchical design ideas of acquisition layer、transportation layer、application layer. Inthe research of system,layers of information model is focused.The technical advantagesand difficulties of this article include:①Collection layer is responsible for datacollection、the bus data transfer and aggregation. Presenting information aggregationmodel with M-Bus master and slave communication method,and the service modelingwith the main line of modular design and configuration design ideas.②Transport layeraccesses to the Internet network with the GPRS network, build Information model andinteraction mechanisms based on TCP/IP protocol, and design of the communicationserver with this private protocol. The core of server is the thread pool and provides ahighly efficient multi-threaded processing mechanism for the acquisition layer andapplication layer communication.③Application layer provide convenient interactiveinterface to users, this paper analysis the specific needs of user,In the structureproposed by the application layer information model based on functional level,That isdifferent levels of users with different permissions, provide users statement analysismodule, GIS display module, database storage module, web access, PC configuration,data communication.Finally system functionality is integrity tested, and system testresults are analyzed,then inadequate and late prospects is proposed.The paper build a universal monitoring and managing system on city pipe network,and give the specific implementation plan for the overall system. The research of systemhas important practical significance in monitoring and optimal management of water,gas, heating pipe network. System has a good performance in real-time, stability andinteroperability.
