The automatic monitoring technology of radio transmitter has always been a key point in research for technical workers. In this paper, by comparing several important domestic and international field bus technology, I put forward to using CAN bus to build a transmitter control system program. As one of the most widely used field bus, CAN bus is low-cost with high communication speed, and has the ability of working reliably in harsh environment of strong electromagnetic interference,which help it achieve automated remote monitor-ing of transmitter and solve the reliable problems.System is modular in design, implementing remote monitoring, real-time control on switch, collecting, monitoring and storing analog and digital, as well as trouble- shooting down. System is divided into three parts: the lower position module of data acquisition and control, CAN communication module and the upper position module of management data. The former two parts are the key contents in this paper.Lower position module is built by an integrated CAN controller, P87C591 microcontroller, so the design complexity is simplified; with the structural characteristics of P87C591 and the overall functional requirements, I design and relize the peripheral modules, and then describe its structures of hardware and software in detail; the principle, structure and communication protocols of CAN-bus were introduced, and the software design on the CAN-bus programming is also described in detail in the related chapter. The USB-CAN converter module is adopted, allowing the upper position module through the PC man-machine interface to send commands down and exchange information with the lower position module.Finally, the system design and implementation is made as a conclusion, and the future development is made for the prospects.
