As an important part of the radio broadcast transmission system,The FM transmitter control system plays a very important role in ensuring the normal operation of the transmission system.However,in practical work and application,transmit stations usually have a variety types & models of transmitters,and there are few perfect control system matching with each transmit station.This brings a lot of inconvenience in the FM transmitter control and monitoring in the actual technical maintenance and Safe broadcasting.This phenomenon is especially prominent for the large transmit stations which has a large transmit power,several frequency points and complex situation,such as Tianta.If we can design and develop an FM transmitter monitoring system based on the actual situation,it will allow us monitor the working status of each transmitter in real time,and also can remote operate when the fault occurs.This greatly reduce the work intensity of the staff,reduce the chance of mistake operation,Improve the reliability of transmission system.In this paper,a remote monitoring system of Tianjin radio and television tower for FM broadcast transmitters is designed.The design of the system overall scheme,the selection of the hardware modules,the design of the software interface and the design of the software logic are described in detail.Through the analysis and study on the existing transmit equipments and combined with the actual needs,this project determines the overall system design,including the overall structure of the FM radio transmitter remote monitoring system and the various functions that must be.After that,in order to meet the needs of the data acquisition of FM radio transmitter,the variety of control actions of transmitters and its antenna rotary switch on each channel,and the data communication between host computer and slave computer by monitoring system,analyze the control interface and the data format of HARRIS and GME transmitter.According to the result,design the hardware connection and select the hardware modules.Finally,the overall hardware architecture is determined.In order to facilitate the use of staff monitoring system and achieve real-time monitoring,the software program is developed by C language.Realize the remote control of the transmitter.Mainly,designed the logic flow for the need of the slave computer,and then,made the functional design and the interface development.Finally,after the system put into use,it works properly,realize the monitoring of FM radio transmitters,achieve the desire objectives,can complete the corresponding functions.The system resolve the inconvenient monitoring problem which due to the transmitter manufacturers and modules are different.
