Digital signal processing is one of the most rapidly developing disciplines ofinformation science in the recent decades. Today the devices commonly used to achievehigh-speed digital signal processing are DSP and FPGA. FPGA with high integration, logiccapability, high speed and flexibility has greater advantages over DSP, especially inparallel signal processing. In the field of signal processing, it is often needed to acquire andprocess multi-channel signals real-time. To solve the problem, this paper brings forwardthe design of the data acquisition and processing system based on FPGA.This paper first introduces the components and advantages of digital signal processingsystem and then chooses the stratagem for the overall program design by comparing theFFT algorithm and the practical hardware choices. As the aspect of hardware, this articleparticularly discusses the schemes and circuits realization of some function modules, which include signal adjustment, A/D conversion and FPGA configuration. Signalprocessing modules design is achieved basing on the Xilinx's software platform ISE,applying the VHDL language and IP cores. The whole signal processing unit consists of aclock module, a data-sliding module, a FFT module, a modular module and a signalcontrol module. Besides, this design uses the ModelSim simulation tools to simulate thetiming. Finally, we use the MATLAB to prove the design and find that the design meets thetechnical requirements.
