As a significant component of information science and the prime means of information acquisition, the technology of data acquisition has reaped a rapid development with the progress of microelectronics and computer technology. Currently many kinds of data acquisition systems have been widely taken advantage while a number of new ones existing. Among them, the data acquisition card based on PCI interface has high speed, and has become the mainstream of the modern data acquisition card.This paper is mainly related with the design and implementation of some kind of CPCI bus's data acquisition card which is based on FPGA IP core. The data acquisition card here is aimed at maximizing the data transmitting speed to satisfy the practical need of data acquisition system. Furthermore, the data transmission function of the CPCI bus here is realized with IP cores in FPGA, which can not only improve the speed of data transmission, but also save the practical area of PCB. On the basis of the introduction of the whole scheme, this paper first analyzes the hardware design of the data acquisition card, and then underlines the implementation of the data-transfer function of PCI bus, including the development of PCI's driver and application, and finally the system test results of this interface card are briefly analyzed.
