Design And Implementation Of Information Management System Based On B / S Structure Of The Vocational Schools

The times of information brings huge change to the information management of all trades and professions. On one side, the quick development of computer and internet technologies are continuously offering new technical means to the development of information management system. On the other side, along with the development of these technologies and society productive forces, the way of information management is continuously becoming more informative and netive, and pushing the applying of these technologies to the development of information management system. In order to fully use internet resources, to integrate those information that are dispersed originally in various departments of school, to improve school management level, to quicken the speed of information exchange in various departments, and to help leader to get information on time and to make decision accordingly, this article develops information management system of Sanmeng Vocational Special Secondary School based on B/S model. The main contents of this article includes:1. After analyzing and comparing of different development methods, models and their specialities, the paper discusses concerning technical problems in constructing school information management system by ASP based on B/S model.2. It analyses some problems in school information management, and decides to use easy and practical combination of HS+ASP+SQL Server under Windows environment supported by internet and campus network to develop the system, to realize dynamic, mutual and effective netive information management.3. It uses UML technology as a tool to analyses and design system. It puts forward that school information management has following 10 fields: office, educational administration, staffs, student, recruiting students, obtaining employment, teaching and researching, logistics service, safety guard and library information. It carries out detailed analysis to these system functionalities.4. It constructs some functional modules of the system, and the main module is teacher & worker management. It provides operations like inquiry, add, change and delete etc. to data base to realize the daily management.The system has been completed and after a period of testing, it reaches our original basic design purposes.
