Blue Hurricane English, as a well-known brand, has a great reputation throughout the country, and remarkably powerful influence in the markets. More than 300 types of 10 categories of its series books have been published with the cooperation with China Youth Press and China Translation Publishing Company and so far there are 168 types being sold in the markets. The books are grouped into different levels and stages to meet the various needs of the readers. The selected topics have been done by the senior researchers and developers and experienced teachers of special-class from all over the country, making the books more authoritative. Owing to the idea of initiating the easy and speedy way in learning English, the series books of the Blue Hurricane English are characterized by high-end popular products, as a result, its strong status of the leading role in breaking through the traditional teaching assistant book markets have been established.This paper studies the competition strategy of the Blue Hurricane English. It has four chapters. Chapter One introduces the present situation of the book industry development. Chapter two focuses on the significance and function of setting up strategies. Chapter three deals with the structure of publishing industry, with the help of SWOT method and analyzes the superiority and inferiority, chance and threat of the Blue Hurricane Foreign Languages International Institute. Chapter four points out that the competition strategy of the Blue Hurricane English teaching assistant books should base on several strategies such as brand strategy, continual development strategy, united competition, personal strategy and constructing marketing network strategy, etc. Chapter five discusses the strategies for implementing and control from the aspects of organizational structure, personal resource, drive mechanism, cost manage and financial control. Based on the analysis on the present situation of educational reform and markets of teaching assistant books, and the analysis of the internal and external environment of Blue Hurricane English, this paper establishes its implementing strategies so as to find its development space, and strive to realize the strategies and maximize the global power of the Blue Hurricane Foreign Language International Institute.
