The Design And Development Of The English Grammar Teaching Network System

The application and popularization of modern information technology, computer technology and network technology in education bring not only a breakthrough in teaching techniques, but also the changes of teaching structure and learning process based on the circumstance of network teaching. The traditional teaching model has been broken, and learning requires more diversity, socialization and subjectivity.In such an environment, this paper focuses on the design and development of a web-based English grammar teaching system. Starting from the investigation on the current status and problems of English majors'grammar learning, it designs a network platform to assist the English grammar teaching. Adopting the methods and procedures of software engineering design, the author writes functional requirement analysis of platform through interviews with teachers and students. On this basis, from the perspective of the users (teachers, students and administrators), the paper offers the overall design of system function modules, and the design of each role's function. In order to accurately describe the logical relationship between each role and each functional module further, the author uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) to build model of main function in the system, case diagrams to describe the relationships between roles and functional modules and sequence diagrams to describe the timing process of system function module. Then the overall design is conducted in the system database and SQL language is used in writing system database table. From the perspective of platform transplantation and application popularity, the writer sets up the B/S three-tier system model, and builds a platform with the combination of ASP language and Access database, and finally develops and implements English grammar teaching network system.It is hoped that this thesis can be of some reference value to the design and development of English grammar teaching network system.
