The dissertation concentrates on the supporting technique in Agile Manufacturing and ASP service: Manufacturing Resource Management, which is based on Data Classification Tool and information technology. A platform called Manufacturing Resource Management Platform Based on Internet/Intranet is put forward, aiming at manufacturing resource information sharing and integration. The platform is used to support the primary phases of manufacturing resource sharing and integration. With focus on the establishment and realization of the platform, the main research work and contributions are as follows:1) A total implementing framework for Manufacturing Resource Management and a system structure for the platform are presented.2) The classification and coding of manufacturing resources is discussed in detail, and it establishes a framework model for resources classification in ASP service platform based on domain analysis. This research also maps out the classification and coding structure for manufacturing resources in 410 Factory.3) The research focuses on description attributes to manufacturing resources, and the software and hardware description frame are studied respectively. In this research, a modular information infrastructure, which consists of several generic resource classes such as CAD software, CAM software, CAPP software, PDM software and horizontal numerical control lathe, is proposed and deeply developed.4) The research aims at the manufacturing resource maintenance and the realization, and designs recursion arithmetic in order to create a tree for manufacturing class structure. By means of keyword matching and query item combination, manufacturing resources query is realized.5) A description to manufacturing resources with RDF is given in the research. On the basis of it, the research focuses on application integrations between the platform and enterprise applicationsystems.6) As the validating of the above research, the author designed, developed and realized the platform which satisfied the requirements of the ASP service platform. The management of manufacturing resources in 410 Factory is implemented successfully and it creates considerable practical benefits.
