This subject is a son item of some project of the NO. 10 Research Institute of the Department of Information Industry. The main purpose is digital processing of the input intermediate frequency pulse signals, drawing the detail characters of the pulse signals, so that distinguishing me from enemy. Because the width of the rising edge of each input pulse is 30 to 100ns, in order to gain the entire pulse signal, higer sampling speed is needed.250MHz was chosen as sampling speed. As the pulse signals reach the system in a paroxysmal way, each time the signals'length are less than 400ms. So the SDRAMs , each with capacity of 512 Mbytes were chosen to store the arriving signals. In addition, the quasi-real time processing of the input signals is needed according to the project. The TMS320C6711B of TI Company was chosen to meet it.Meanwhile, the results coming from TMS320C6711B will be sent to PC by way of CPCI bus for further processing. At the same time, keeping a high speed interface to outside so that the primal data will be sent direct to the faraway devices according to the demand,so a high speed Ethernet interface was designed .This subject involves high speed sampling, storing, processing, PCB, bus interface and network transfering technologies. The primary works in this paper are presented as follows:1. The basic theories of the IF(intermediate frequency) digital technology are detailed .2. The thought of design for the high speed sampling board was put forward and all the schematics were finished.3. The high speed PCB(printed circuit board) was well designed according the high speed PCB technologies.4. The debug of the A/D and CPCI interface of the sampling card was finished and the results were given.
